Is this a suggestion for an improvement to the editor? If you're at all familiar with Java, you may want to have a look at the basic EditText source code as I think your ideas may best be expressed in code as I'm not getting exactly what you're suggestion. Note that Dubscript's editor extends this with screenplay-specific functionality, but this is the base that I think you're wanting to extend if I understand correctly.

Also there are a few repeated posts so i'll clean those up.

Fountain is an easier way of writing screenplays that lets you use any simple text editor.

(note- JA is a cool guy, but not affiliated with DubScript)
