I get an error message when I try to open my script that I have been working on for months now :(
I'm using a RCA - Viking Pro Tablet and have the current version of the app. Normally, my script just load up automatically. Now I get the error message and the default script from the app under the name of the file.
1) under the write menu, there's no backup menu
2) I did get a message saying that I was getting close to storage but I checked my tablet and was ok...Now I think they meant the app which is over 25MB
I'm on a Galaxy Tab A and have just downloaded the app. When I select "Start a screenplay" and it takes me to next page, it won't allow me to select "save". It says "MyScreenplay.fountain" and won't let me save it at all. I've tried changing the file type, I've checked the settings and have looked here but can't find any answers.

So I found a way to use DubScript on my Kindle HD 10.1 tablet. I'm posting this just in case someone wants to try it. I'm not offering iron-clad guarantees, just noting that it's worked for me so far.
To start with, I used How To Geek's tutorial on how to install the Google Play store on the Amazon Fire tablet (without rooting it). Basically, I downloaded 4 Google Play Store APK Files in order, and then installed them in order. The Google Play Store* icon showed up on the tablet and I signed in in the usual way.
How do I open DubScript on my Android 7?
When I hit Create New Screenplay it gives me a title to fill in but then takes me to my downloads folder.
No matter how I swipe or what NOTHING happens? What gives? This used to be a terrific little app before it got tarted up.
I was wondering if there was a way to toggle on/off the automatic "(CONT'D)" after a character's name if they speak without another character in between them. I've noticed the feature exists in Final Draft and Fade In, and it would be very helpful in my own work as well.
If it's not possible now, would this be a feature you may add in the future? Assuming there's enough demand?
I write about a little problem when I collaborate with other screenwriters who work in final draft. When I export a screenplay in fdx from Dubscript the title page, in finale draft, have no blank line between title, credit and author. How can I solve?
